Dealing With Depression

Depression affects most people in the world from time to time, and it is difficult to deal with. I have struggled with this problem in the past, but recently found a way to deal with this very frustrating depression. I will explain how to do this in this article.

I was born into a family that includes many members who find life difficult to cope with and often worry about certain things. I am one of these people, and it seems that no day can solve some of my problems, and that is to make me feel unhappy or stressed. I find it difficult to appreciate all the things in life that are inherently good because my brain seems to focus only on all my problems or potential problems.

In the past few years, I have tried to deal with these things that are now called challenges and try to focus more on the positive aspects of life. As I have already explained, this is difficult for me to do because I am a born worrier.

What I decide to do now is to compare my life with the lives of other people around the world. For example, in the past few days, I have been watching news programs on TV and have been horribly hearing about the current situation in Iraq. I’m sure that most readers of this article will know what happened in Iraq, but there are a few things that really shocked me.

The first is a roadblock set up by people wearing police uniforms. These people stopped many vehicles and dragged the people into the street. According to what I have heard, they include young and old, men and women. Twenty-one of them were shot dead. I can only imagine how terrible this would be.

The second incident happened only on the second day. Fifty people were taken away from the workplace and the bus stop the next day. They were basically kidnapped and taken away with many vehicles. I’m not sure what happened to them since then, I can only hope that everything is well with them. This is again very disturbing and will be terrible torture for the personnel involved.

I am not an expert on the situation in Iraq or why all these things are happening. I don’t know how to improve, but I need something to help these people.

For me, this makes me feel very lucky. If I start to feel a little down, then I think of people living in Iraq and people living in other countries. I am sure that most of these people are willing to swap places with me, and if I try to explain to them why I am starting to feel a little frustrated, they might laugh at me.
